Clumping Bamboo

These bamboos make clumps that expand slowly, only a few inches a year.  All make a fantastic addition to any home garden.  None require a barrier - they are truly no-fear bamboo!

(Temperatures are a defoliation temperature, not a kill temp.
Heights and culm sizes are dependent on site.)

This bamboo is fast becoming a star and is still relatively unknown here in the US.  Originating from Sichuan China, it has beautiful orange-red culm sheaths adding a glow and warmth to this plant that is very appealing.  It's small stature makes it perfect for a small garden or courtyard planting.
